Having an online presence is essential to maximise positive engagement with the local community. Chess Engage designs bespoke interactive project websites which serve as the hub for engagement.
The website will not only improve the consultation experience for residents but allow us to promote positive information and counter any misrepresentations. Our websites encourage visitors to sign up so we can stay in touch as the project progresses to Planning Committee, helping us to identify key concerns along with potential supporters.
ONLINEEXHIBITION
Traditional exhibitions often engage a limited pool of stakeholders who are often those most vociferously opposed to development, and most likely to object. Online exhibitions can draw in a larger pool of people because can be accessed from home.
Chess Engage pioneered online exhibitions. Our interactive online exhibition allows consultants to present the information, while residents are able to ask questions and provide feedback. The event is recorded to allow those who were unable to attend the live session access to the material.
SOCIALMEDIA
Social media plays an important part in our lives and can be a useful tool within the planning sphere. Chess Engage can run a social media campaign targeting information at those who would not normally engage in the planning process, providing us with another forum to engage with and respond to the community and their concerns.
